#OURSEA
Itella Estoniais a partner of #OURSEA, a charity campaign launched by Moomin Characters to celebrate the 75-year anniversary of Tove Jansson publishing her first Moomin story. The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of the condition of the Baltic Sea and raise one million euros for John Nurminen Foundation’s work to protect the Baltic Sea and its heritage.
2020 marks the 75-year anniversary of Tove Jansson publishing her first Moomin novel. To celebrate this, Moomin Characters is launching the #OURSEA campaign in collaboration with the John Nurminen Foundation to raise money to save the Baltic Sea – one of the world’s most polluted seas.
The aim of the #OURSEA campaign is to raise awareness of the condition of the Baltic Sea and raise a total 1 million euros for the Foundation’s work to save the sea and its vibrant culture.
You can contribute by spreading the word, donate or buy campaign products.
As little as 10 euros can help improve the condition of the Baltic Sea and remove about 40 kg of blue-green algae.
