All services available once again
We are pleased to announce that all of our services are available to all clients once again as of 8.00 am this morning, Monday 21 November.
We were forced to restrict access to our systems as a consequence of a cyber incident which occurred on 7 November to make sure that the system was as secure as possible. We make no compromises when it comes to the security of data, whether they belong to our clients or our clients’ clients.
In the interests of security, we strongly recommend that all business clients change their passwords in the system. If you are a user of the Smartpost self-service site for business clients, access the site (https://eservice.smartpost.ee/) to change your password as soon as possible after regaining access. Click on ‘Forgotten your password?’ to create a new password for yourself.
A secure password:
- contains both lower-case and upper-case letters;
- contains numbers or punctuation marks;
- is at least eight characters long;
- does not include your name, the names of family members, birthdays, etc.; and
- does not include words found in the dictionary.
Note: If you are also an API user, you will need to enter your new password in API as well.
We thank all of our clients for their patience and understanding in sticking with us through this difficult time.
