Smartpost Itella Disc Golf Cup gets off to a flying start

Smartpost Itella is continuing to support Estonian disc golf this year.

Last weekend saw the launch of the 2023 Smartpost Itella Cup series, which got off to a flying start – the competition was completely sold out, and in addition to trophies being awarded, the first qualifiers for this year’s Estonian championships were decided.

The cup series, which is designed for professionals, has the backing of Smartpost Itella, which as the sponsor of last year’s Estonian championships took local disc golf to a completely new level. The Estonian Disc Golf Association is delighted with the continued sponsorship and the growth in the prize fund for the cup series. Why disc golf means so much to Itella is explained by the company’s customer experience manager Triin Parmsoo. “Itella Estonia really values active lifestyles, particularly if they involve getting out in the fresh air, because it’s great for your health and is environmentally friendly as well,” she said. “Disc golf is popular all over Estonia, including among our staff, so it’s the sport for us!”
